Fed: U.S. see modest uneven growth
WASHINGTON - The United States economy grew unevenly at the beginning of autumn, with more than half of the regions of the country expansion modestly while others are trying to grow.
A survey conducted by the Federal Reserve released Wednesday found that seven of the 12 regions of the Federal Reserve reported moderate activity improvement.Three regions - Philadelphia, Richmond and Cleveland - describes economic activity mixed or régulière.Seulement two regions - Atlanta and Dallas - suggested economic growth is slow.
The survey revealed that the economy is not weaken but growing too slowly to the high unemployment rate now 9.6 %.Le unemployment rate has reached or exceeds 9.5% more than a year.
"Hiring remains limited, with many companies are reluctant to add permanent payroll, given the economic softness," concluded the Fed survey.
