Freelancers happy than the average worker

Almost three-quarters of freelancers are actively seeking to work outside the constraints day nine to five traditional, a survey shows, and the decision to make happy than the average worker.

Employers also assessed their services with 600 companies surveyed in a separate survey saying 60pc running their businesses without freelancers would be "difficult".
John Brazier, Director General of GPC said: "results confirm that people see more freelance as a conscious career choice and it is encouraging to see that their value, competence and flexibility is appreciated and considered a necessity by the companies in the United Kingdom survey."
To mark the national day of freelancers, David Cameron, the Prime Minister welcomed their contribution to the economy.
"I can't tell you how much admiration I have for people who leave the comfort of a regular wage for their propre.Il takes a lot of courage – and without this courage that this country would be much poorer place," he said.
He added: "" 1.4 m in our country freelancers make a massive contribution to our économie.Plus with people choosing freelance, recognizing that it strikes the right balance between work and life in the 21st century, and that we go to the economic growth that Government is just behind them. ""
