Mark Madoff, 46, was found hanging from the ceiling of his apartment in the SoHo district in Manhattan fashion Saturday morning by his father-in-law.

Law enforcement officials told the Associated Press that Madoff was found hanged in a ceiling pipe in his loft apartment living room two year-old son sleep in a room nearby.

Mr. Madoff and his brother Andrew transformed their father for the American authorities in December 2008, after he told them that he was running a financing fraud 50 billion Ponzi scheme.

Two sons were senior positions in the company, but insists on the fact that they had no knowledge of the fraud for where their father is now serving 150 years in prison.

The son of two years of Mr. Madoff would in his SoHo apartment with him while his four year old child is in Florida with his wife.

No suicide note was found, but Mrs. Madoff had asked his father for the control of her husband, after the two exchanged e-mails that triggered the alarm.

Mark and Andrew continued this week by Irving Picard, the trustee appointed to the Court, recover assets for victims swindled by their father.

The Wall Street Journal reported this month that they are the object of criminal tax - fraud cases by federal prosecutors in Manhattan. Martin Flumenbaum, Mark Madoff, lawyer said: "it is an unnecessary and terrible tragedy."

"Mark was an innocent victim of the monstrous crime of his father who died two years of relentless pressure from false accusations and innuendo."

A lawyer for his mother, Ruth Madoff, said "broken".
