Paul said that he did assign Fed, immediately

WASHINGTON — Republican Representative Ron Paul, the new head of the Subcommittee that oversees the Federal Reserve said Sunday he will seek greater transparency but step send summonses to the Chairman of the Central Bank of the day.

Paul, a long-time fed critique will be the new Chairman of the Sub-Committee of the domestic monetary policy of the House financial services Committee when the new Congress sits in January.

"Now this does not mean that the first week of January send a summons to appear for Bernanke, Chairman of the Federal Reserve, Ben) and the application comes with a pile of papers, I think not it would be logical," Paul said in an interview on C-SPAN.

Send inquiries to other Federal Reserve, such as accountants, "and say that is what I want and see what happens," Paul said.

"And then they can always hide behind the Act, if I want to request all transactions with foreign banks", he said, adding that it would benefit American who was getting rescued.

Paul has written a book entitled "End the Fed" and believes that the dollar should be accompanied by gold or silver. The United States stopped connecting the dollar into gold in 1971.

Republicans will control the House of representatives in January after having won the most seats in the election of November on a wave anti-Government sentiment and anti-incumbent.
