Rolls-Royce to resume the Airbus production line engines

Airbus confirmed that Rolls shipped some engines Airbus facilities in Toulouse in a process of replacing a faulty part in the Trent 900 engine used by Lufthansa, Qantas, Singapore Airlines.

Rollers has refused to comment on whether it incur a financial penalty being but Airbus would send 20 rather 22 A380 this année.Fournissant existing customers is a priority of rollers.

Airbus said last week that Rolls-Royce engine failure may delay some deliveries to customers of the airline in 2011.The aircraft manufacturer has had difficulties in obtaining the A380 up to full production rate due to cost overruns and not expected to break even on the aircraft until 2015.

Rolls-Royce has declined to say what kind of component were wrong on the Sydney Qantas flight, but the defective part has caused an oil leak which then leads to the "liberation" disk turbine, causing the part .the explosion is supposed to be deeply in the turbine, and in some cases the manufacturer will replace engine together rather than single component.

There are 20 order service with Rolls-Royce engines, and each plane has four moteurs.Qantas failed six of its command since the explosion of the engine on 4 November and Lufthansa and Singapore have two rendering engine changes.

Emirates and Air France also fly them the A380, but with an engine made by GE and Pratt & Whitney of the United States.

Rolls said the cost of dealing with the replacement of engine meant growth income for the year would be "slightly lower" 5mC 4pc increase forecast in July.
